Full Curriculum: AI for Kids — The Explorers Foundational Track
A foundational track for ages 8–14 that goes beyond "ask the AI and take the answer". Children learn how to ask, verify, and think — and when to use AI to learn rather than letting it do the work for them. The track ends with a complete story of the child's own making, presented to the group and the family.

🎯 What you'll be able to do after this course
Understands how AI works and why it can be wrong, and knows when to trust an answer and when to verify it
Builds a good question from context, task, and format, and improves prompts step by step
Uses AI as a tutor that helps them understand — not a tool that does the homework
Organizes study sources in NotebookLM and turns them into flashcards, practice questions, and mind maps
Creates images and stories with AI while protecting their privacy and others' rights
Recognizes deepfakes and misleading content and tells them apart from the real thing
Compares ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini on the same task and picks the best fit
Combines text, images, and audio or video into one product with Google AI Studio and Higgsfield
Presents a graduation project of their own making to the group and family, and earns a certificate of completion
📋 Prerequisites
- Ages 8–14 — no prior programming or technical knowledge required
- For the curious or creative child; no previous exposure to coding or AI needed
- A suitable device (laptop or tablet) and an internet connection
- Accounts are created and tools are used under a parent's supervision and consent
- Enrollment and follow-up go through the parent, and schedules are coordinated with them
